Boy Scouts In the Dark Forest:
The first painting made within the series. An interpretation of three youngsters lying in the dark surrounded by the greenery of the forest and the moon. The white space that was left represents the unknown and ambiguity that is included within the darkness of nature. The three figures were also an innate choice made by myself because I have two sisters and there were always sets of three within many things at many times because of that while I was growing up.

Three…, Not of A Kind:
Some entities resist their environments and the factors within. However, they find sustenance within the constraints that are out of their control. They then begin to seek out ways to cope – seeing each other as the issue as opposed to accepting and integrating in harmony. Therefore, no union is found.

Greyscale:
A culmination piece depicting a subjective world filled with variety, layers and imperfections. The painting itself can be interpreted as an expressionistic microcosm of that world that we are either a part of or observing. The strategic usage of black, white and grey acrylics aid to interpret the relativity that this world possesses. Within that relativity, beings are presented in the form of niches, spectators and even outliers.
